Welcome Caro Villeneuve to the P5 Team!

We are stoked to announce the addition of Caro Villeneuve to the P5 Team! Caro hails from Elko, BC, Canada and is a household name in the Wakesurf Industry. She has accomplished a lot in her Wakesurf career from teaching the next generation of riders at her H2O School at Lake Koocanusa to winning the World Title in 2015. Beyond her achievements, Caro is a great person with a positive attitude which translates into everything we look for in P5 ambassadors.

Lets dive in and learn more from Caro!

Name: Caroline (Caro) Villeneuve

Age: 36

Where are you from? Originally from Chambly, Quebec, Canada; currently live in Elko, British Columbia, Canada

Home Lake: Lake Koocanusa, BC

Boat Setup: We have 2 boats: 2013 Centurion Boats SV244 & 2019 Centurion Boats RI237

Current Sponsors: Centurion Boats, Phase 5, WakeBallast, H2O School Ltd, Absolut Watersports, Commit Snow & Skate, and Body Glove

Why Wakesurfing? It’s such a fun sport and the fact that it’s low impact will allow me to keep doing it for many more years to come!

Favorite Athlete: There are so many great athletes I’m looking up to: Dom Lagacé, Keenan Flegel, Jodi Grassman and Sean Silveira (just to name a few).

If you’re not Wakesurfing: In the summer, if I’m not wakesurfing I’m busy coaching at H2O School up here in beautiful BC, Canada.

Favorite Music: I’m pretty easy but please no death metal!

How do you stay healthy? I live a pretty active life-style and I make sure to ingest enough calories for all that energy I’m burning!

Favorite Workout? With the life-style I am living, my daily routine is a workout on its own. For example, in the winter we heat with a woodstove at home, so carrying and chopping firewood is definitely a good workout!

What do you do in your off season? I drive a Snowcat for Island Lake Lodge in the Canadian Rockies and on my free time I like to go snowmobiling and snowskating.

Tips to a rider who just bought there first Phase 5? Try to set your wave at its optimum capacities and take the time to learn to surf comfortably without the rope before to try learning tricks. Getting your basics dialed will definitely help you progress a lot faster!
