Drew Danielo

Former World Champion & current team captain/manager Drew Danielo is still killing it after all these years!

Drew Danielo, a legendary wakesurfer from Venice, Florida, has been a key member of the Phase 5 Wakesurf Boards team for over 20 years. A former top skimboarder with ZAP Skimboards, he switched to wakesurfing in 2002 and quickly dominated, winning the 2003 World Wakesurf Championships and going on to claim seven non-consecutive world titles (2003, 2005–2008, 2011, 2013). Known for groundbreaking tricks and board innovations, he co-developed iconic Phase 5 models like the Diamond and Hammerhead and was inducted into the Wakesports Hall of Fame in 2022, also receiving the Legend Award in 2019.

After retiring from full-time competition, Drew shifted his focus to family while remaining deeply involved at Phase 5 Headquarters. He now handles sales, customer service, team management, product design, and rider development. He continues to mentor riders, share gear expertise, and participate in events and team shoots, cementing his status as a true wakesurfing icon whose influence endures.
