We set out to create a fun new sensation for our riders and this bad lad checked all the boxes. The wide plentiful nose is great for hanging 5 and cruising the pocket with a forward positioned stance. In contrast, the fun swallow tail provides great response to carve those feel good turns and slashes when standing towards the tail. If you struggle to keep up with a smaller wave, this board is the cure. The Zilla V2 is glassed with our FLEXtec V2™ system for unmatched strength and durability. It is built with a single fin setup for the classic longboard feel.
FlexTec V2 has been the staple construction technique in P5 surf style boards for the past few years. The FlexTec V2 layup schedule features a full Innegra bottom sheet with a carbon stringer along with a full Innegra top sheet combined with a carbon stringer and carbon vector netting. This combination of glass and epoxy resin provides an ultra strong surf style board that is built to outlast the competition.
