EVENT | The Nautique IWWF World Championships in Hong Kong

The International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) has been putting on events in the watersports world for years now. Founded in 1946 and an organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee, the IWWF include divisions in waterskiing, wakeboarding, barefooting, show skiing, cable wakeboarding, cable waterskiing, waterski racing, disabled waterskiing, kneeboarding, and of course, wakesurfing!

From November 2-10th, the IWWF is putting on their first World Wakesurf Championships and team Phase 5 will be in attendance! With a total of $30,000 up for grabs in the Open Men’s and Women's skim and surf categories, who’s going to take home the big prizes? Only time will tell! “The IWWF is pleased to announce that its 1st IWWF World Wakesurf Championships will be held in Hong Kong, China at Tai Po Waterfront Park from 3rd to 10th November 2024. The 2024 Nautique IWWF World Wakesurf Championships will be organised by the Hong Kong, China Waterski Association (HKCWA) and will include individual age-group categories and a team overall category. There will be a US$30,000.00 cash purse for the Open Men & Women’s skim and surf categories.”
