Wakey Wakey was the first club that we got to check out when we headed over to Dubai from Abu Dhabi. When we pulled up, we were greeted by coach and team rider Nadia Skripak, Nika, and our newest team rider Alya Lapina! We headed to the boat and you could just feel the stoke in the air!
The spot that WakeyWakey Dubai frequents is this beautiful protected spot from the wind with some of the bluest water we’ve ever seen! Alya was the first to hit the water and she was extra excited because we had just added to the team and presented her with her brand new Phantom! She got out there and didn’t waste any time getting used to her new board. Next up with Nika who showed her technical prowess on the MVP. After some coaching from John, she was able to land some new tricks and the stoke meter got pushed even higher! Next up was Nadia who flowed from trick to trick and made it all look good the whole time. Once the ladies wrapped up, of course they wanted to see John Akerman ride so he went out and put on a clinic!
