Kaelyn Hellemn is a professional wakesurfer that rides on Blue Lake, Churubusco IN.
Kaelyn's love for the water began at a young age, resulting in her being exposed to many watersprots growing up, iuncluding wakeboarding and kneeboarding. Ultimately her love for wakesurfing prevailed. Kaelyn started surfing at the age of 7 and began competing in 2021. That same year, Kaelyn was coached by Sean Silveira, where her progression really kicked off! Since then, Kaelyn has been progessing at a fast pace while enjoying every second she gets to spend on the water with her family. In 2023, Kaelyn landed her first 540 shuv-it, 540 big spin, and finished 2nd place at WSWS Worlds. Before competing, Kaelyn likes to listen to music, go over her runs, and stretch. In her free time, she enjoys reading, learning, hanging out with friends and family, skateboarding, and playing basketball.
