Two major contests went down this weekend – Stop #2 of the Pro Wakeboard Tour in Park City, Utah & the Nautique European Wakesurf Championships at Liquid Leisure in London. Team Phase 5 had an impressive showing at both contests with team riders appearing on each podium!
First off, a huge congratulations to Jett Lambert for taking his 2nd PWT win this season. At this rate, he’ll have the PWT overall title locked up for the second year in a row with no problem! We also had team rider Rob McClelland land in 3rd. Congrats, Rob! Will he overtake Jett one of these days? Only time will tell…
Next, we had some riders fly over to the Nautique European Wakesurf Championships in London, England. This is always a big, fun contest with plenty of different riders from all over Europe gunning for a shot at the title. Team rider John Akerman made the journey and ended up podiuming in both pro men’s skim and surf with a 2nd and 3rd place finish, respectively. Young gun Lee Hite also took 3rd in pro men’s skim to round out the podium. Congrats, guys!
