Another grom ripper from the great state of Florida, Phupa is our newest addition to the grom squad on Phase 5. He lives in Clermont, FL so he has the luxury of getting to ride and be coached by Jett and Sean. Does it get any better than that? Phupa has definitely shown us that he has a bright future ahead of him because he has already started to rack up podiums! We’re stoked to have him on for 2025. Find out more about him below!

PHASE 5: Hi Phupa, congrats on joining P5! When did you start surfing and how did you get your start?
Phupa: I actually saw wakesurfing on Youtueb before I knew what it was! After that, I knew I wanted to give it a try.
PHASE 5: What are some of your goals for 2025?
Phupa: I would love to win Worlds for my division and possibly get another sponsor!
PHASE 5: Who are some of your favorite riders and why?
Phupa: Jett and Sean because they are so good and so cool. I want to be just like them.
PHASE 5: What's your favorite memory of wakesurfing so far?
Phupa: Winning my first contest is a real standout for me!
PHASE 5: What do you like to do in your free time outside of surfing?
Phupa: I love to jetsurf and race go karts.
PHASE 5: What are some tricks you're working on for this season?
Phupa: I’m trying 5 bigs and 5 shuvs. Hopefully I get them this year!
